Project Competency: Can analyze and evaluate language arts instruction in the elementary school classroom through observation and/or clinical experiences.
Sub-Competencies:
§ Candidates will assist and/or observe a teacher in a public school classroom for a minimum of 15 hours.
§ Candidates will apply oral and written communication skills as a means of enhancing their personal and professional growth.
Deliverable:
For this project, you will implement at least one lesson from your 2-3 day learning segment developed in Project 2, and provide an analysis of your teaching. You will need to video yourself during the implementation, and discuss how your instructional decisions impacted student learning.
