How to Search for Journals

While databases archive hundreds or thousands of journals, sometimes you might be looking for a specific journal by name. There are a few different ways to find a journal when you know the title.

  1. Searching the Electronic Journals List.

  2. If the journal is not in the E-Journals List, you can try searching Journal Finder. Shepard Library may have the journal you want electronically or in print. There is a tutorial for how to search Journal Finder

  3. Finally, if you can't find the journal in Journal Finder - you can search the Triangle Research Libraries Network catalog, and then request the journal through Interlibrary Loan.
