You may eventually need to purchase your own style manual, especially once you have entered your major, but Shepard Library keeps copies of the most frequently used manuals. You can access these by asking at the Reference Desk, on the 2nd floor, and they must be used in the library.
These resources can help you with citations if you don't have a style manual at hand.
You don't want to plagiarize--even by accident! It can cost you a class grade, or even your degree. For more information about what plagiarism is and how to avoid it, check out these resources.
Citation management tools allow you to save citations of research as you go and create both bibliographies and in-text citations automatically. You can use these tools for free as long as you are a student at NCCU.
