Competency: Can evaluate the characteristics of effective teachers.

Sub-competencies

1. Assist and/or observe a teacher and P-12 students for a minimum of twenty (20) hours as a culminating field experience project.
2. Examine and evaluate the roles, styles and values as teachers.
3. Examine the characteristics of effective teachers.

Deliverable:  You will create a digital presentation that highlights five teachers who exhibit characteristics of effective teachers. Your presentation will include a rationale from research and be supported by actual teacher beliefs and behaviors. The presentation should be developed to be presented to your AP who will then present it to the district committee that approves website content.
