Open Education Resources (OER): Start Your Research Here

This LibGuide is a collaborative effort between the Shepard Library and the Department of Criminal Justice

Welcome to the OERevolution at NCCU

Open Educational Resources Welcome to the Criminal Justice OER LibGuide! Open educational resources (OER) are teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits their free use and repurposing.  This OER LibGuide was curated to provide Criminal Justice faculty, staff, and students with affordable learning solutions, which support success by improving students' day-one readiness, engagement and learning outcomes.  It is also a means of reducing the cost of education by reducing the costs associated with expensive textbooks.  This is a robust collection of open textbooks, videos, articles, full online courses and other material developed by faculty and other educators across the nation.  Funding for this project, Promoting Affordable Learning for Student Success (PALSS), was provided by a 2017 Innovation Grant from the Office of the Provost and with the assistance of the staff of the Shepard Library.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES WILL BE ADDED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK BACK.
